Love this card!!!

I just love this card!!! It would be a great card for Christmas to put a family picture on and it stands up as a display. I created this one for a swap in one of my CM groups. I have left the circle and square blank because I am going to personalize it for the person I am sending it to.

Here is a side view.
This was my first time using the Gerbera Daisy stamp. I think it turned out pretty good. I stamped it on watercolor paper and used my watercolor pencils. This is still new to me so I stamped an extra to mess around on and test color combinations.

I created my own template for it from a card I received from someone, so it would be easier the next time I make one. I am posting it here for you. Hopefully when you click on it, it will be large enough for you to read. The paper size is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, I always forget to put that in my diagram. I'll remember that one of these days.

Some Tips:
Score your paper in half at the 4 1/4 line first. Next make your markings as noted in blue down and across your paper however you prefer. It is easiest if you make your cut along the red line next so you can use it as a stopping point for your other score lines. Fold the left side first and then all the folds on the right accordian style.

Oh yeah, the size of the paper on the right side sticking up is 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 and the paper on the left side with the flower is 1 3/4 x 4 ( I made mine just a bit wider so I didn't have to trim the flower too much).
Hope you enjoy. If you make one please post a link in the comments. I would love to see it.

It's finished...well almost

All I have left to do is a little bit of journaling, but I will leave that for later. Here is how the inside turned out. I didn't do much embellishing on the pages because of the size. Turned out cute though.

I usually keep them open displayed on a shelf. This is what it looks like from the top:

Oh, yeah I almost forgot the pics of my first and favorite flagbook:

See ya nextime!!!
